So, another Xmas comes and goes but it was a busy one this year with six family guests. Again no snow but during the thirty years that we've lived here, I can only remember a couple of White Christmases. But the main attraction for this part of the world, whatever the time of the year, is the wonderful scenery, particularly the coastline. We walked around Morte Point on Xmas Eve....the wind howled and the waves crashed...brilliant and exhilarating!! And on Boxing Day, the weather was bright and crisp for our walk from Watersmeet to Lynmouth, working-up an appetite for a Fish n Chip lunch in the Rising Sun.
